I travelled to Thailand’s northernmost province to find out about the area’s social and sustainable development, transforming from a former opium hub to an economy based on coffee and community-based tourism. This was published in Business Traveller’s April 2022 issue and led me to win Features Journalist of the Year 2022 within the Destination category at the BTJAs (Business Travel Journalism Awards).
